Iranian series ‘Salman the Persian’ 30% complete

Reports say one-third of the scenes of Iranian series ‘Salman the Persian’ by Davoud Mir-Baqeri have been shot.

The filming of the series, which began more than three years ago, is currently underway in Absard, Damavand County, Tehran Province.

So far, the filming of one-third of the scenes of the series has been completed.

The TV series revolves around Salman the Persian, the Iranian companion of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Alireza Shoja-Nouri, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, and Farhad Aslani are among the actors that have taken part in the series.

According to Davoud Mir-Baqeri, the series will be broadcast in 2026.

Last October, Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Peyman Jebelli hailed the TV series during his visit to a filming location of ‘Salman the Persian’ in Shahrud City.

Jebelli stressed the importance of the TV series, noting that the series is of global value and reach.
